Mischa Barton

Barton, a British American actress, has worked in television, film and in theatre. At the Lincoln Center in New York City she performed her stage debut with Tony Kushner's Slavs! James Lapine's Twelve Dreams was her first character. In 1996 she made her debut as an actor with an appearance and a brief appearance in All My Children. She also voiced characters in Nickelodeon's animated program KaBlam! in 1996 through 1997. From 1996 to 1997, she acted as the lead on the television drama Lawn Dogs (1997) alongside Sam Rockwell, marking her the first major acting role. Her most notable movies include M. Night Shyamalan's suspense film The Sixth Sense (1998) and the comedy about love Notting Hill (1998). In 1999, Barton also made an appearance in Pups which was an indie crime drama. Then, Barton acted as Evan Rachel Wood's partner in the ABC series Once and Again (2001) and also in the drama indie Lost and Delirious (2001). She played Marissa Cooper in the 2003-2006 season of The O.C. Fox TV series The O.C., for which she was awarded two Teen Choice Awards. The role she played in the 2003 season of the O.C. was a huge hit. Entertainment Weekly even named Barton"The year's "It girl. Since then, Barton has acted in the drama Closing the Ring, directed by Richard Attenborough, as well as the comedies St Trinian's and The Assassination of a High School President. She also made a return to the television screen in 2009, appearing in the CW show The Beautiful Life, which Ashton Kutcher produced. Mischa Mischa Mischa
