Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. Her best-known work is her character Skyler White in The AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward and Jean Ward, she also appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She was enthralled by performing at the age of Preparatory after which she moved to Ohio with her family in early 1970s. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for a few years, prior to trying out for film and TV roles. Anna's first big role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After a brief appearance as a Guest on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue during the 90's She was then cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. In 2000, she was cast in Deadwood for the part of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her character on Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film, and a few other movies were also starring her. Gunn was also on stage and played in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn played a role in a 4-part audio-play podcast called"Numbered Days". The story of Breaking Bad is usually centered around the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The straining relationship and its eventual ending are reminiscent of the end of Walter White's life.
